The break at last

Hey guys, omg finally a break from school. But I can't help but feel like I should be doing something, other than study for my muscles test lol. I've just been working on so many projects that to suddenly have it all stop feels kinda wierd lol. Aywho, here's what my final animation of the year looks like, I still wish I had one more day to work out the kinks but its...satisfactory lol. Later days!

Animation Update

Paiting Assignment 1st Semester

Here's a painting I did for my Layout class. I enjoyed this one, I always liked doing conceptual pieces. I'll post thumbnails later but I seem to be having a scanner malfunction. The idea behind this was to take extreme setting or mood changes from our Storyboard assignment and make it into a painting...essentially. Enjoy and later days!

Expression Animation test

Hey guys, here's my Expression Assignment I've been working on. I guess there's not much expression right now, but the movement nonetheless came out quite nicely. Wow, it has been way too long since my last posting. I know I said I would have that painting done...along with several others but school life has just been crazy this year. WIP 10

Wow...sorry I've been gone so long. The past few weeks of school have been pretty crazy. New teachers, new friends, and a new sister-in-law. Yep, that's right, my brother got married and I was part of the groomsmen. It was probably one of the nicest weddings I've ever been to. Anywho, back to work now lol. So here's an update, again apologies for not having it done, but like I said its been busy. I redid the hair, I feel its a LOT better and less busy than before.

Speedpainting 080608

Hey guys, return of the speedpaintings. I can't believe I didn't post any last month, but I'll try to see if I can do more. I want to get better at doing clouds, they're probably my favorite aspect of any environment, and in my opinion really sell the image as a whole in the end. Anywho, later days!

Hey everyone, I'm back and better than ever. With my new PC now up and running, which by the way was a NIGHTMARE getting set up, I can start working on some of the sketches I was doing in while offline. Also, I know I promised photos of my helmet, but I was busy working on that too so I should have some pics of it nice and (primed) black. Anywho, here's a little teaser of what's to come.

Upgrade!

Hey everyone, there's going to be no new artwork coming for the next few days, maybe some pencil work but nothing fully coloured. I am currently in the midst of upgrading my PC to a monster machine! Anywho, been working on my helmet, especially since Fan Expo is around the corner, so its crunch time. I promised myself that I would get it at least primed by mid next week, so expect to see some pics of it by hopefully Tuesday if nothing in my random life comes up. Later days!

Hey guys, finally finish this thing lol. Sorry it took so long, some shit kept on coming up and it was hell lol. Anywho, so this was part of a project requested by my friend Arvalis who wanted to create a bunch of characters based on rare animals or colour variants and such. I was thinking of making this into a print but I don't know if anyone would like it. Well I'd trim it down to make it more cost effective and such lol. Anywho later days!

Hey guys, here's a little update on a project I'm working. A friend of mine from DA started this idea to draw characters based on rare animals or rare colour variants. So here's my white tiger lady who's grey and not very tiger looking at the moment lol but hopefully she will after I'm done colouring. I'm hoping to get this one done before Sunday. Later days!

Golden Dark

Another day another post. Lame title, but I couldn't think of anything else lol. This is Samantha, she's a character I created back in high school so that I could dress her up in different costumes to try out, or to just experiment with (don't worry nothing "weird" lol). Anywho here's the final product. To be honest I really wish I did a better job of this, something just feels wrong. Anywho enjoy, late days!

Character Update - Aya

Hey guys, I don't know if I mentioned this the last time but I reworked Aya's appearance. Here she is in grey lol. Sorry, I'll colour her soon, but right now I got other things I have to work on. In the meantime hope you enjoy it, later days!

Aya is called a "half-wing," someone born of both human and Highborne decent. Following in her mother's footsteps Aya became an apprentice to a renown scholar to study ancient civilizations and cultures . Skilled with a bow, and armed with her mother's journal as a guide, Aya has set out on a quest with her dear friend Sarah to uncover seemingly unexplainable mysteries, including the sudden disappearance of her mother ten years ago. Happy Canada Day!

Ok so its a day late but lol here it is. Yesterday was probably some of the most fun I've had all summer, which is kind of sad lol. Started the day out with a 10k run for some charity by HBC, so my legs are killing me right now. Then hooked up with all my old buddies, went around town, partied, and finished off with the best fireworks show to date. I hope you all had a good Canada Day too lol, here's a little update! Hey guys! Finally its done. After a long day of cleaning up the neighbor's yard, doing random stuff around the house, and practicing some bo staff stuff I actually found time to finish this pic up. What a Week

Ryu 62 here. Wow, what a week its been eh. So many projects not enough time to post. Luckily its reading week, so we got some time to rest before storm number two hits us if you know what I mean. Me and the boy are working a Tyranid army, for those of you not familiar race from a tabletop game called Warhammer 40k. In other news, we got some concepts we'ld like to share but since our scanners are down, we got some oldies from our pile to share with you. Both are characters from a story I'm currently working called Dragon Shard-Chronicles of the Storm. The first lady is Aya, and the second is the main character Migu, enjoy! Later days.
