Here's a walk cycle I did as practice. I actually really like how it came out, and I learned a lot from doing it lol. Its my 5th one I think, enjoy!

First 3D model
As the title says this is my first 3D model. I really feel I have a better understanding of the program and process now. Thanks to my teacher for a lot of help and resources lol. This is not the finished vid, but its a preview. Enjoy and later days!

3D Lip Sync Test 11
Hey, I know I skipped 10 but for good reason. I made two and the second one that had more tweaks was better (obviously). Still a few things to fix up and such but should have it done before the end of the next week considering my schedule, later days!

3D Lip Sync Test 9
So I've blocked in all of the mouth movements, and I'm currently trying to work out the details of certain expressions now. Still tweeking body language too. Later days

3D Lip Sync Test 8
Here's the latest WIP of my 3D lip sync. I 've started to block in the mouth movements and now I just need to adjust specific accents. Some of the body language still needs to be tweeked but since the rig is still limited it may be kind of hard to achieve a more "natural" movement lol but we'll see. Wish me luck, later days!

3D Lip Sync Test 6
So here's another WIP. Worked on it a bit today to tweek the body language. It looks good to me, but we'll see what my prof says this week. Later days!
AA Pencil Test
So this year we have a semester long animation called an Action Analysis Assignment where we create a character to perform an action, lol duh. PLUS, we fully animate, colour and all, 5 seconds of this 30 second short in the hopes of teaching us how it works in the industry. Its a lot more work than it sounds, and a lot less time consuming than it should be, but its been fun so far.
So far I've just done, what is called, Key Frames, and going to smooth it out soon. Then detail then colour, etc. My action is a jump and grab, where a kid monk runs up a tree and...you know what just watch the video lol. Enjoy and later days.

Character Concepts - Dragon Shard
Hey, here are some profile concepts of 4 out of 7 of my main characters from my own original story which I have dubbed Dragon Shard: Chronicles of the Storm. The four there are Migu, Aya, Kaelan, and Anthony. I have their personalities and stories mostly worked out, and have been trying to make it understandable how all their lives work and meet. I'm going to see if I can put a face on the remaining characters too. Of course all of this is work in progress, all characters and designs are by and belong to yours truly. later days!

3D Run
So this is a run cycle done in Maya, using a model and rig from the school. Its taken some time to get us to how articulate it is, and even then its not all that articulate but I got us to it. All I've been doing to it lately is tweeking it. Who knows maybe I can use it as a portfolio piece. I still have quite a bit left but its all just adjustments here and there. Wish me luck and later days.

3D Walk
Here's a 3D walk cycle I did in class the other day. Been doing a new one every class, and getting faster and faster each time. I'm going to do another to see if I do a better job but I hope you all like it so far. Later days!

Hey everyone,
Its been a while, but school's back and here I am. This my first 3D "animation," well more like a test. It was an in-class workshop we did in 3D Digital Class. I really enjoyed it but I still don't think I did it right. I'll most likely go back and redo it and post the new one some time this week.

Aya 2008 Design
Man, this pic has taken way to freaken long to complete. Mostly due to my vast powers of being lazy and always seem to be busy with something lol. Unfortunately this does not represent what current sketches of her look like but I should have it up soon...at least that's the idea lol. Enjoy and later days!

May 26th
Its funny how time passes. Season change, people and the like come and go, and all that jazz. Yet there's something about a birthday, a day pretty much like any other that happens again every year, but there's just something about that particular day that makes it special to you and you alone. The day of someone's birth, no matter how things turn out, its that one day that allows everyone to look at you and smile, and come together to celebrate with you.
I can't speak for everyone in the world, only just myself really, but looking back at these 21 years, all of it, good and bad, I would not change anything. I really like who I am, and who I've become. I can really proudly stand on my own two feet and say I'm me, and there's nothing that I would alter or make different in any way. I may not be completely unique or original. My jokes may all be over used, and corny. I'm still quite young and inexperienced in almost everything. But I like how things have turned out nonetheless.
So really this is a thank you to everyone and everything that has contributed to who and what I am. My parents, friends, jobs, hardships, and experiences overall have all made me simple me. Somehow, for just today so far, I feel like I'll live forever, and I love it!

Mistress of the Wind
So I'm not so good at titles, but here's a quicky that I did to test out my cell shading skills. I used a few custom brushes from Yumedust for some of the texturing that you see there.
I really enjoyed doing this actually, felt good to actually get something out in time. I'm going to be doing this same style for a school assignment which is due in a few weeks so look forward to seeing more. Later days!

Hybrids
For the first time ever, here are my life drawings lol. I've been told by my teacher that my skills in life drawing fluctuate between on the ball and just outside of it, or something like that. Here are some images of when we did a sort of cross between the model and animals we had as references from books and the internet. The soldier one is from when we did clothing, and I know, my drapery is pretty off, but I still like how it looks over all. Enjoy, later days!

Sketch
Here's a quick sketch of Cammy, one of my favorite Street Fighter characters. Its just something I did while bored during a lecture, don't worry I didn't miss anything important, but we did watch Singing in the Rain lol classic. There are a few things I noticed in the anatomy and shading but I guess I'll just keep practicing. Later days

Muzzle Test 2
Here's round too. So far I'm focusing only on getting the muzzle the way I want it. I'll deal with resizing and details, like eyes and clothes, later. Enjoy, later days!

Muzzle Test 1
Here's what I've got so far on my muzzle animation. Its not much now but I should have more than 50% by this week end. Its due next Friday....ya...wish me luck.

Watch the Watchmen
I have to say, its been a while since I've seen such an awesome movie, especially one based off of a piece of pop-culture. I'm of course talking about the extremely well done Watchmen film that is probably now one of my all time favorites.
Set in a world where masked heroes had become part of everyday life, the characters and the universe the live in feels so real, and eerily mimic our own. Director, Zack Snyder, did an amazing job bring everything about the comic book to life, and it made me almost believe it could all have been possible. I wish more movies were like this, its rare to find a film that remains very true to its source and deliver quality over selling out (i.e. X-Men, Doom, Resident Evil, to name a few among many). We can only hope that future films turn out just as great (Halo, Avengers, JLA, etc).
So to end this bit of ranting, I implore you to watch the Watchmen. Its 3 hours of beautiful story telling, but don't take my word for it. You're going to have to experience yourself. Personally, I give it a 8.5/10, only wishing they had not dragged on a few scenes so much.
Later days!

Human Sync
I present to you my latest animation assignment, the human sync. Basically we had to take the expression change and lip sync, and combine it into a full body animation of a human character. I'm pretty satisfied with it, I might go back later on to do some tweeks. I just wish that the camera didn't make it so freaken blurry. Later days!

WIP 11
So since we have a new digital painting class its given me the chance to work a little bit on some stuff here and there. Here's Aya from my story that I'm writing. I made some modifications to her clothes and might do the same to her hair, but just slightly in order to update her image. Anywho enjoy, later days!
